Christy Ross

Christy Ross is the one of the Owners of Cecil A. Ross Investment & Insurance Group. She has over 20 years of project management, client service and marketing experience. Christy attended Angelo State University to pursue a degree in psychology. In 2004 she received her Project Management Certification from Villanova University. She was formerly a Corporate Telecom Solutions Manager and Data Specialist, which provided service to clients in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Christy joined Cecil A. Ross Investment & Insurance Group in 2010 with a vison of developing THE premier insurance and investment firm in West Texas. Currently, Christy is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the firm's communication strategies, community relations activities, event planning and navigates the organic growth and direction of the firm.

Christy is a licensed insurance agent and has won several awards in the Texas West Region. Christy serves on the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) and is a Board Liaison to the Medium Agency Advisory Council.

In February of 2024, Christy was the inaugural recipient of the Laura Lee Lewis Humanitarian Award by the WHIT Program, in memory of Laura Lee Lewis. This esteemed accolade recognizes individuals who embody remarkable dedication, compassion, and meaningful contributions to the advancement of humanity.

As an active Board member and representative of the industry, Christy serves on the state association's IMPACT Board of Trustees. This a political action committee which makes sure independent insurance agents are represented at the state capital.

When not working, she enjoys mentoring, engaging in professional development, philanthropy, volunteering with the American Heart Association (Circle of Red) and fellowship at Glenn Meadows Baptist Church. Christy also serves on the fundraising committee for the WHIT Program that provides tutoring for children in foster care.

In her free time, she takes joy in participating in community events, tennis, exercising, running, and traveling. Christy spends most of her spare time with Cecil, and attending events with family.
